Basil and I are full time travel professionals, we offer our Chicago properties here but we also run a custom travel planning agency, RealGreece Travel, so we know what quite a bit about hospitality.

As mixed culture couple (Basil, born and bred in Athens, Carole, born & bred in Chicago) we know Chicago, and we also understand the quirks in Greece and know how to help our guests get the most out of their time in Chicago and their time in Greece.

For those who choose our Magic Factory Lofts by Chicago Vacation Rentals, you are staying in an intentional holiday home. You won’t find anyone’s clothes in the drawers but you will find lots of things provided with travelers in mind (some of which are secrets we choose not to share here since that’s what makes us special 🙂

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Updated from second stay: Great location with nicely appointed spaces. Our group of 13 all had beds and plenty of room to socialize in the large loft. Large dining table where we would gather. Elevator and only one floor for a big space was an added plus. Train station is a 10-minute walk, a bus that connects to the Blue line stops out front. Target, Whole Foods, and a grocery are in walking distance as well as a coffee shop. Hosts are genuinely concerned that you enjoy your stay. Terrific experience.

The condo was beautiful and spacious - perfect for our group to gather and enjoy the Chicago area. Carole and Basil were very responsive anytime we needed anything.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Tbh, this place was taken out of my wildest dreams for a brief Chicago stay. Besides it being beautiful, spacious, equipped with everything you need, killer views, 10/10 location… the real cherry on top was the vibe created by the owners (who are on the top floor, out of sight, out of mind.) The owners seemed really chill and fostered a beautiful getaway. This little oasis had a currency of trust, chaining everything together. When we got there, there were seltzers and coffee left behind by the previous tenant. When we left, we left behind coffee and beers for the next group of travelers. For being modern and spacious, it had the right touch of casual ‘Hostel’ vibes. Just a really nice … ‘positive assumptions’ getaway.  They even let us leave our bags after checkout so we could explore Chicago one last time.
